We Are Looking For...
SALES needs:
Ticket Sales Supervisors - Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and or Monday. The job consists of helping place people in the correct booth, making sure booths have correct supplies, and answering questions of booth personal. Contact Ryan Danzinger at 847-624-0806 or by email at ryandanzinger@yahoo.com
Marketplace Closers - Sunday afternoon at 5pm people are needed to help take down the craft/vendor booths and help the people carry their boxes to their cars which will be at the curb on Miner. Contact Lydia at marketplacefestival@yahoo.com
Grounds & Services needs:
Marshals - People are needed Thursday 5:00pm to 8:00pm and or 8:00pm to 11:00pm. Saturday Noon to 4:00pm. And Sunday Noon to 4:00pm and or 8:00pm to Midnight. Marshals check coolers and containers at the gates, remove wrist bracelets from departing patrons, check for wrist bands on all those consuming alcohol, walk through the crowds to assist guests, keep the fire lanes open during entertainment, and help find lost children. They also patrol certain parking areas assigned to the Festival. Contact Kay Leck at home 847-392-5244 or during the festival via radio on channel 2.
Entertainment needs:
Parade Marshals - People are needed Monday July 5th at 9:00am. Walking Marshals are needed during the parade to walk with a unit and help the unit as needed. Non-walking marshal position will be assigned to one location to direct people, assist with crowd control, etc. Contact Carmella at 847-828-1259(cell) or 847-758-0586(home).
Food needs:
Booth Chairman - People are needed to help run the Porkies Booth or the Lighter Fare booth. Contact Tom at 847-341-0046.
After Festival Food Donations: - Sometimes after festival we have extra unsold/uncooked food which we donate to non-profit organizations. If you are a part of such an organization please contact Tom at 847-341-0047.
Stampede & Walk needs:
Marshalls - People are needed to stand on corners and stop traffic for the 5k and 10k runners on Sunday July 4th. To help contact Craig Carlson at 847-259-8359 or craigwcarlson@comcast.net or catch him at the Festival.
Finance needs:
